At the designated time, gather at Calle 32 in Guatapé to embark on this cocoa tour through San Rafael, where you'll uncover the secrets of one of Colombia's most celebrated products. From the starting point, you'll ahead to a cocoa farm in San Rafael. Upon arrival, you'll take a short 200-meter (656-foot) walk to the main house, where you'll be greeted with a refreshing drink. You'll then dive into the world of Colombian cocoa, touring the farm with an expert who will explain the various stages of the process, including cultivation, flowering, and harvesting. Next, you'll visit the wood stove where the cocoa beans are roasted, and the best seeds are selected. You'll observe the steps of removing the shell, grinding the beans, and extracting the cocoa, which will be used to make a chocolate bar. Once it has cooled, it will be ready to be enjoyed! Following this optional demonstration, you'll stroll to the river, where you can experience a chocolate exfoliation ritual—a truly natural experience!
